B.S., Industrial Engineering, Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey.

Ridvan Gedik, Ph.D. received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas. He holds a B.S. and M.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey and the University of Arkansas, respectively. He joined Industrial and Systems Engineering Department as a Visiting Assistant Professor in August 2014.

His primary research interests include developing efficient solution techniques for large scale optimization problems in the application areas of healthcare, transportation, homeland security and supply chain. He is a member of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) and the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE).
