The Mississippi State University Industrial Engineering Department is glad to welcome you to the 2008 Region 3 IIE student conference.
The conference is scheduled for February 28, 2008 to March 2, 2008. This year's theme is "Imagining Improvement Everywhere.” Events such as the technical paper competition, speakers and seminars, a career fair, and plant tours will be held throughout the weekend.Would you like to know more about your hosts? Below is some important information we would like to bring to your attention:
Registration:
Registration is available online. Late registration begins on February 13, 2008. Late registration fee is $60 per person. If you are registering as a group, we have a separate registration process located here.Hotel Information:
We have two hotels set aside for the conference: Comfort Suites and Holiday Inn Express. There are special conference rates associated with these two hotels. In order to take advantage of these rates you must call to make your reservations.Information on the plant trips to Baldor and Weavexx can be found here.
Technical Paper Competition:
Each chapter can submit up to two papers. If your chapter wishes to enter the paper competition all submissions must be postmarked by February 7, 2008. The guidelines for the competition and the submission information are located on the website.Facebook:
